Biography
Ivan Palúch was a Slovak actor. He was born on 20 June 1940 in Zvolen and died on 3 July 2015 in Martin.
He made his film debut in the early 1960s and gained prominence with the role of Adam Jednoručka, Kozlík's one-armed son, in František Vláčil's Marketa Lazarová (1967). He also appeared in Obchod na korze (1965), Morgiana (1972) and Ucho (1970).
Palúch featured in three films screened at the 1969 Cannes Film Festival. His later credits include the title role in the television film Adam Šangala (1972) and Princ Bajaja (1971). He received a lifetime achievement award at the Art Film Fest in 2008.
