Biography
J. Anthony Crane, also known as Tony Crane, is an American actor. Born in Los Angeles, he graduated from Northwestern University in 1993 with a degree in theatre and writing, and obtained a certificate from the Royal National Theatre of London in 1992.
Crane is known for his early role as Remy McSwain in the television series The Big Easy. His stage credits include playing Scar in The Lion King and Thénardier in Les Misérables, as well as a Broadway appearance in Between Riverside and Crazy. He has appeared in television series including Succession (2021), Billions (2023) and Dead Ringers (2023).
Crane plays Chandler Groff in seasons four and five of the Netflix series Outer Banks (2020–).
