Biography
Jack Deerson is a cinematographer. He received a credit as director of photography on the film Two-Lane Blacktop (1971). He is also credited as cinematographer on The Dark Side of Tomorrow (1970), When the Line Goes Through (1972), Virgin Cowboy (1975), Sweet Savage (1979) and Willie Nelson's 4th of July Celebration (1979).
On The Dark Side of Tomorrow he is additionally credited as director and co-writer of the screenplay. Contemporary accounts of the production of Two-Lane Blacktop note that Gregory Sandor carried out the principal photography but could not receive a union credit; Deerson was credited in his place.
