Biography
Jack Duffy was an American actor who appeared in around 85 films between 1916 and 1937, often in character roles where he appeared older than his age through make-up.
He had a background in vaudeville and musical comedy before entering films. Duffy is credited in several Buster Keaton shorts and features, including A Dog's Life (1918), Neighbors (1920) and Our Hospitality (1923) as Sam Gardner (uncredited). Other appearances include Ella Cinders (1926), Alice in Wonderland (1933) and Love Takes Flight (1937).
Born on 4 September 1882 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, he died on 23 July 1939 in Hollywood, California. His sister was the actress Kate Price.
