Biography
Jackie Curtis (born John Curtis Holder Jr.) was an American actor, playwright and singer. Born in New York City on 19 February 1947, Curtis died there on 15 May 1985.
Curtis made a stage debut at the age of 17 in Tom Eyen's play Miss Nefertiti Regrets (1965) at La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club and subsequently wrote and appeared in several off-off-Broadway plays, including Glamour, Glory and Gold and Vain Victory. Andy Warhol and Paul Morrissey cast Curtis in the films Flesh (1968) and Women in Revolt (1971). Curtis also appeared as Self in WR: Mysteries of the Organism (1971).
