Biography
Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie is a Canadian actor. Born on 20 June 2003 in Maniwaki, Quebec, he was raised on the Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg First Nation reserve and is of Algonquin and French-Canadian heritage. He began acting around the age of 14 after responding to a casting call for an Indigenous child actor who could speak French.
His early roles were primarily in French-language productions. He made his screen debut in the 2018 film A Colony (Une colonie) as Jimmy, earning a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. He later appeared in Falcon Lake (2022) as Jackson and the series First Line (Premier trio, 2024–2025) as Xavier.
Whiteduck-Lavoie stars as Ellis in the Amazon Prime Video series Sterling Point (2026), his first major English-language role. The series marks a significant step in his career after years working in Quebec.
