Biography
Jacqueline Getty, also known as Jacqui Getty, is a costume designer. She began her career assisting Milena Canonero on The Godfather Part III and Beatrix Aruna Pasztor on My Own Private Idaho. In the 1990s she worked as a costume designer and stylist on music videos for artists including the Beastie Boys, Daft Punk and Green Day, as well as numerous commercials.
Getty designed costumes for Francis Ford Coppola's 1999 musical Gidget. She later took a break from the industry to raise her daughter before returning to work on films and commercials. She served as costume consultant on her daughter Gia Coppola's Palo Alto (2013) and directed a behind-the-scenes documentary for the film.
Her feature credits include additional costume design on The Darjeeling Limited (2007) and costume design on The Last Showgirl (2024).
