Biography
Jacques Grassi was a French film editor and assistant director. He worked on numerous French features from the 1930s onwards, with credits including Train de plaisir (1936), Farinet ou l'or dans la montagne (1939), A Cage of Nightingales (1945), La maison sous la mer (1947) and La dame de chez Maxim (1950).
Grassi edited Monsieur Hulot's Holiday (1953), directed by Jacques Tati. He also served as assistant director on Brazza ou l'épopée du Congo (1940) and co-directed the short film Premier roman (1949).
