Biography
Jakub Kijowski, also credited as Kuba Kijowski, is a Polish cinematographer. He graduated from the Faculty of Cinematography at the National Film School in Łódź in 2009 and is a member of the Polish Society of Cinematographers.
He is best known for his work as director of photography on Agnieszka Smoczyńska’s films, including The Lure (2015), Fugue (2018), The Silent Twins (2022) and Hot Spot (2026). Other credits include Floating Skyscrapers (2013), Warning (2021) and Nocebo (2022).
Kijowski has received awards for his cinematography, including at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia and the Andrzej Munk Award. He is the son of director Janusz Kijowski and brother of actress Julia Kijowska.
