Biography
James A. Demetriou is a London-based film editor. Of Polish and Greek Cypriot heritage, he began editing in a self-taught manner and runs his own company, Amuse the Butcher. He has worked across feature films, commercials, music videos and documentary projects in the UK and US.
Demetriou edited the feature Wasteman (2025), directed by Cal McMau, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and received a BAFTA nomination. He has also edited music videos, including work for The Weeknd and Leningrad.
