Biography
James Aaron Finch is a production designer and artist at Walt Disney Animation Studios. He served as production designer on the feature films The Princess and the Frog (2009) and Brother Bear 2 (2006).
Finch has contributed to the art and animation departments on numerous Disney productions. His credits include visual development on Big Hero 6 (2014), Baymax! (2022) and Olaf Presents (2021), as well as layout work on earlier films such as Treasure Planet (2002) and Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001). He is also credited as James Finch on some projects.
Raised in Florida, Finch drew on that background when designing the bayou settings for The Princess and the Frog.
