Biography
James Maclurcan is an Australian actor, writer and director, also credited as James Beaufort and James McFay. He was born on 15 March 1985 in Sydney.
He is known for his role as Mack Hartford, the Red Overdrive Ranger, in the television series Power Rangers Operation Overdrive (2007). Other credits include the part of Italian Agent #2 in Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard (2021) and the role of 23, as well as co-writing the screenplay, in War Machine (2026). He has also appeared in Neighbours (2024–2025) as Felix Rodwell.
Under the name James McFay he has directed and written short films including Tiger (2009) and Burning Hearts (2011). He has worked as a comedy writer on The Ronnie Johns Half Hour and is a member of the comedy group The Nice Guys.
