Biography
James Bentley (born 14 July 1992) is an English actor. He played Nicholas Stewart in the 2001 psychological horror film The Others, for which he received a Young Artist Award.
In 2004 he appeared as Michael Sellers in The Life and Death of Peter Sellers and as Young Nero in the television film Imperium: Nero. He is also credited as Jimmy Bentley in the 2010 series The Defenders.
Bentley later worked in theatre at the Nottingham New Theatre, where he won the award for Best Actor in a Leading Role in 2013 and again in 2014, and became a fellow in 2015. He has worked as a backstage manager, including on the production Half a Sixpence.
