Biography
James Coker is an American actor and comedian. He is from Texas and is based in Los Angeles.
He trained and performed improv and sketch comedy in New York City for ten years at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, The PIT and the Magnet Theater. He appeared with the sketch team Night Eaters on UCB's Maude Night and as part of the duo Coker & Stratton.
Coker has appeared in 30 Rock (2010), Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (2015) as Jayson, Mythic Quest (2022), Ted (2024), Matlock (2025) and the film Freaky Tales (2024). He has also written for several pilots and web series.
