Biography
James L. Thompson III is a television producer and director. He worked on The Vampire Diaries (2009) from its first season, initially as associate producer, then co-producer, producer, and executive producer, and directed the episode "Coming Home Was a Mistake" in season eight.
He has also produced The Originals (2013), Legacies (2018), Roswell, New Mexico (2019), The Bold Type (2017), Death and Other Details (2024) and other series.
