Biography
James Pentecost is a film producer. He is credited as producer on the Disney animated feature Pocahontas (1995). He also served as co-producer on Homeward Bound II: Lost in San Francisco (1996), associate producer on Whispers: An Elephant's Tale (2000) and executive producer on the television film Geppetto (2000).
Before joining Walt Disney Pictures in 1992 to produce Pocahontas, Pentecost worked in theatre as a production stage manager on Broadway productions including La Cage aux Folles, Crimes of the Heart, Romance, Romance and Gypsy. In 1998 he renewed his exclusive deal with Disney, under which he provided first look on projects across film, television and theatre.
