Biography
Jane Brucker is an American actress. She is best known for playing Lisa Houseman in the 1987 film Dirty Dancing.
Brucker studied theatre at the North Carolina School of the Arts and performed with the improv group First Amendment in New York, where one of her classmates was Bruce Willis. She co-wrote the song "Hula Hana", which her character performs in Dirty Dancing.
Her other credits include the role of Angela Mitchell in an episode of Miami Vice (1986), Sheryl in Stealing Home (1988), and Mimi Samuel in an episode of Ellen (1998). She appeared in further television series such as Crime Story, Wiseguy and Doctor Doctor, and films including Bloodhounds of Broadway (1989) and Dishdogz (2005). Her acting credits span 1986 to 2010.
