Biography
Janet Julian, also credited as Janet Louise Johnson and Janet Johnson, is an American actress. Born on 10 July 1959 in Evanston, Illinois, she grew up in Southern California, attended North Hollywood High School and UCLA, and began her career as a model before moving into acting.
She is known for her role as Nancy Drew in The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries (1978), Lieutenant Brie in Battlestar Galactica (1978), and guest appearances in series including Knight Rider (1982), Columbo (1989), Murder, She Wrote (1984–1993) and Diagnosis: Murder (1993). Her film credits include Big Wednesday (1978), Fear City (1984) and King of New York (1990). She left acting in the mid-1990s and later worked as a parent educator.
