Biography
Jani Zhao, also credited as 赵嘉妮, is a Portuguese actress of Chinese descent. She was born on 19 October 1992 in Leiria, Portugal.
Zhao began her career in modelling before moving into acting. She first appeared on television in the children's soap opera Floribella in 2006 and went on to roles in series including Rebelde Way, Morangos com Açúcar and Sentimentos. She trained at the Cascais Theatre School.
Her film work includes Peregrinação (2017), Cabaret Maxime (2018) and California (2018). She gained wider recognition for playing Stingray in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (2023) and appeared as Noiva Chinesa in Grand Tour (2024).
