Biography
Jared Raab is a Canadian cinematographer and writer. He studied film at York University and began his career with short films and music videos before working extensively with director Matt Johnson.
Raab served as director of photography on Johnson's films The Dirties (2013), Operation Avalanche (2016) and BlackBerry (2023), as well as the television series Nirvanna the Band the Show (2017–2018) and its 2025 feature film adaptation. He has also worked on V/H/S/94 (2021) and other projects. In 2024 he won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Cinematography for BlackBerry.
