Biography
Jaromír Vomáčka was a Czech composer and occasional actor. Born on 23 March 1923 in Dašice, he composed scores for numerous films and television productions, as well as popular songs performed by artists including Yvetta Simonová and Václav Neckář.
He appeared as the cheerful man in Věra Chytilová’s Daisies (1966). Among his composing credits are Komedie s Klikou (1964), Každý mladý muž (1965) and episodes of the series Pan Tau (1972–1978). Vomáčka died in Prague on 7 July 1978.
