Biography
Jaroslav Moučka was a Czech actor. He was born on 9 November 1923 in Studená by Dacice, Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic), and died on 26 December 2009 in Prague.
Moučka began his career in amateur theatre during the Second World War and later worked in several regional theatres before joining the Divadlo na Vinohradech in Prague in 1953, where he remained until 1994. He appeared in more than seventy film and television roles, frequently in supporting parts as folk or comedic characters.
His film credits include Marketa Lazarová (1967), in which he played Jan, Kozlík's son; The Ear (1970); and The Sorcerer's Apprentice (1978). He also appeared in numerous television series and films from the 1950s onwards.
