Biography
Jason James Richter (born 29 January 1980) is an American actor, musician, producer and director. Born in Medford, Oregon, he began his career as a child actor and rose to prominence playing Jesse in the Free Willy film series.
His other film credits include Cops & Robbersons (1994), The NeverEnding Story III (1994) and The Little Things (2021), in which he played Detective Dennis Williams. Television appearances include guest roles in Sabrina, the Teenage Witch (1996), Bones (2009) and Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior (2011). He has also worked as a producer and director, and received a Young Artist Award for his performance in Free Willy (1993).
