Biography
Jason Tracey is a television writer and producer. He began his career with writing credits on series including Justice (2006) and Just Legal (2006), followed by work on Cold Case (2003).
He contributed as a writer and rose through production roles on Burn Notice (2007–2012). Tracey wrote multiple episodes of Elementary (2012–2019) and served as co-executive producer and executive producer on the series. He was a writer and executive producer (including as showrunner) on CSI: Vegas (2021–2024), which he developed, and has writing and executive producer credits on R.J. Decker (2026).
Tracey is a Duke University alumnus and is married to Amanda Tracey.
