Biography
Shawn Corey Carter, known professionally as JAŸ-Z or Jay-Z, is an American rapper, songwriter and entrepreneur who has made numerous appearances as himself in film and television.
He stars as himself in the eight-part HBO documentary series JAŸ-Z in 8 (2026), in which he discusses his music and career with producer Rick Rubin. Other credits include HOMECOMING: A film by Beyoncé (2019), Lemonade (2016) and Black Is King (2020).
