Biography
Jean-Baptiste Alaize is a French Paralympic athlete who has appeared in film and television. Born on 10 May 1991 in Muyinga, Burundi, he was adopted by a French family in 1998 after losing a leg during the Burundian Civil War. He specialises in sprinting and long jump in the T44 classification.
Alaize represented France at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Paralympic Games. He is known for his role as Simon in the 2018 comedy Rolling to You and for appearing as himself in the 2020 documentary Rising Phoenix.
