Biography
Jean-Jacques Debout is a French composer, singer and songwriter. Born in Paris in 1940, he began his career in the late 1950s and has written songs for artists including Johnny Hallyday, Sylvie Vartan and Dalida.
He composed the music for the 1966 film Masculin Féminin directed by Jean-Luc Godard. Debout has also composed for other films and television productions, and he is married to singer and actress Chantal Goya.
