Biography
Jean-Noël Ferragut is a French cinematographer. He trained at the École nationale supérieure Louis-Lumière, graduating in the cinema class of 1970.
He served as director of photography on Yeelen (1987), directed by Souleymane Cissé, sharing credit with Jean-Michel Humeau, and on Romuald et Juliette (1989) by Coline Serreau. Other notable credits include Buud Yam (1997) and Rabi (1992) with Gaston Kaboré, and several films by Jean-Pierre Sentier.
Ferragut has represented the Association française des directeurs de la photographie cinématographique on the board of the Louis-Lumière school, where he has also worked as a trainer.
