Biography
Jean-Pierre Kohut-Svelko is a French production designer and art director. He was born on 23 April 1946 in Paris.
He is best known for his frequent collaborations with director François Truffaut on films including Two English Girls (1971), The Story of Adèle H. (1975), Small Change (1976), The Man Who Loved Women (1977), Love on the Run (1979) and The Last Metro (1980). He has also worked with Yves Robert, André Téchiné and Claude Miller.
Kohut-Svelko won the César Award for Best Production Design for The Last Metro and received several further nominations for the award.
