Biography
Jean Redon is a French writer, screenwriter and dialogue writer. He worked as a journalist before becoming press agent and director of communications for the French office of Warner Bros.
He is best known for his only novel, Les Yeux sans visage (1959), published in the Angoisse series by Fleuve Noir. The book was adapted into the 1960 horror film Eyes Without a Face, directed by Georges Franju, for which Redon also contributed to the screenplay and adaptation.
His other screen credits include adaptations and dialogues for films such as Back to the Wall (1958) and The Tiger Attacks (1959). He is the father of short-film director Michel Redon.
