Biography
Jean-Yves Gautier is a French actor born on 25 August 1942 in Rennes. He began his screen career in the early 1970s after early stage work and has appeared in more than one hundred film and television roles.
His credits include Letellier in The French Detective (1975), a corporal in Life and Nothing But (1989), Mario in Three Lives and Only One Death (1996), Afonso in Journey to the Beginning of the World (1997), and the chief doctor in Don't Worry, I'm Fine (2006). He has also performed regularly in French television series and on stage.
