Biography
Jeanne Aptekman is a French screenwriter and occasional actress. She made her screen debut as Yvette in Robert Bresson's L'Argent (1983).
As a screenwriter she has worked on features including Close Enemies (2018), for which she contributed adaptation and dialogue, Lourdes (2019), Undercover (2021), The Gravity (2022) and In His Own Image (2024). She has also written for television series and documentaries, and received a César nomination for best adaptation.
Aptekman has collaborated repeatedly with director Thierry de Peretti on projects such as Undercover and In His Own Image.
