Biography
Jeanne Rosenberg is an American screenwriter and producer. A graduate of USC School of Cinematic Arts, she began her career in the script and continuity department on films including Piranha (1978), Rock 'n' Roll High School (1979), The Fog (1980), The Howling (1981) and The Beastmaster (1982).
She received her first screenplay credit on The Black Stallion (1979), co-written with Melissa Mathison and William D. Wittliff. Rosenberg went on to write or co-write The Journey of Natty Gann (1985), White Fang (1991), Running Free (1999), China: The Panda Adventure (2001) and The Young Black Stallion (2003), as well as the story for Bambi II (2006). She has also written for television, including episodes of the 1993 miniseries Heidi.
