Biography
Jeff Betancourt is a film editor. He attended the University of Southern California's graduate film school, where he developed a particular interest in editing. While still a student, he received his first feature editing credit on Miguel Arteta's Star Maps (1997).
Betancourt has collaborated repeatedly with Arteta on subsequent films, including Chuck & Buck (2000) and The Good Girl (2002). His credits also include the comedy Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (2004) and several horror films such as The Grudge (2004) and The Exorcism of Emily Rose (2005). He directed the feature Boogeyman 2 (2007).
