Biography
Jeff Cahn is a film and television editor. He began working in the industry in New York in 1975 before moving to Los Angeles in 1978. Early credits include editorial work on The Olympiad (1976) and Cosmos (1980).
Cahn served as assistant editor on 147 episodes of The X-Files (1993–2002) and the 1998 feature film The X-Files: Fight the Future. He has editing credits on series including St. Elsewhere (1986), Snoops (1990) and Father Dowling Mysteries (1990), and on the television film In the Line of Duty: Ambush in Waco (1993). Later work includes assistant editing on One Tree Hill (2003–2012) and Orange Is the New Black (2013–2016). He has also directed episodes of Greatest Sports Legends and appeared in small acting roles.
