Biography
Jeff Donnell, born Jean Marie Donnell, was an American actress. She was born on 10 July 1921 in Windham, Maine, and died on 11 April 1988 in Los Angeles, California. She graduated from Towson High School in Maryland in 1938, attended the Leland Powers School of Drama in Boston, and studied at the Yale School of Drama.
Donnell made her film debut in My Sister Eileen (1942) after being signed by Columbia Pictures. She appeared in supporting roles in numerous films and television productions, including In a Lonely Place (1950) as Sylvia Nicolai and Sweet Smell of Success (1957) as Sally. Other credits include The Blue Gardenia (1953), Tora! Tora! Tora! (1970) and guest appearances in series such as Perry Mason, Mister Ed and The Bob Newhart Show.
