Biography
Jeff Gottesfeld is an American novelist, playwright, and television and screen writer. He grew up in Teaneck, New Jersey, and studied at Colby College and the University of San Francisco School of Law.
He has written for television series including Smallville (2001), The Young and the Restless (2006–2008), As the World Turns, Port Charles, and The Guiding Light. His film credit includes co-writing Broken Bridges (2006). He is an Emmy nominee and Writers Guild of America award winner.
Gottesfeld has also written young adult fiction under the Zoey Dean pseudonym with Cherie Bennett, and later focused on children's books and plays, including The Tree in the Courtyard (2016).
