Biography
Jeff Scheftel is an American producer, writer and director. He began his career in the animation department on films including Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) and Beauty and the Beast (1991).
Scheftel has produced and directed numerous documentaries and short films. His credits include Mahalia Jackson Sings (1997) and The Dixie Hummingbirds: 80 Years Young (2008). He also served as producer on the 30th Anniversary DVD edition of The Harder They Come (1972) and has directed many music-related tribute films.
