Biography
Jeff 'Swampy' Marsh is an American animator, writer, director, producer and voice actor. Born on 9 December 1960 in Santa Monica, California, he began his career in animation as a background layout artist on The Simpsons, where he worked for over six seasons.
Marsh collaborated with Dan Povenmire on several series, including Rocko's Modern Life. He lived in England for six years from the mid-1990s, contributing to BBC animated projects. With Povenmire he co-created the Disney series Phineas and Ferb, which premiered in 2007; Marsh serves as executive producer, writer, director and voices the character Major Francis Monogram. The pair later co-created Milo Murphy's Law (2016).
Marsh has also created and produced the series Pete the Cat and worked on Hey A.J. He has received multiple Emmy Award nominations for his work on Phineas and Ferb.
