Biography
Jennifer Liao is a Canadian director, writer and producer working in film and television. She directed two episodes of the first season of the sci-fi horror series FROM (2022).
Her other directing credits include episodes of Murdoch Mysteries (2022–2024), Blood and Water (2018), for which she also wrote, Two Sentence Horror Stories (2021) and the television films A Sugar & Spice Holiday (2020) and A Big Fat Family Christmas (2022). She made her feature directorial debut with End of Days, Inc. (2015), on which she also served as producer. Liao produced the feature Sex After Kids (2013) and is an alumna of the TIFF Writers' Studio. She received a Directors Guild of Canada Award nomination for A Sugar & Spice Holiday.
