Biography
Jennifer Westfeldt is an American actress, screenwriter, director and producer. Born on 2 February 1970 in Guilford, Connecticut, she graduated from Yale University and began her career in New York theatre before moving into film and television.
She co-wrote and starred in the independent film Kissing Jessica Stein (2002) and wrote, directed and starred in Friends with Kids (2012). Her television roles include appearances in Grey's Anatomy (2009), 24 (2010) and Younger (2017–2021). She made her Broadway debut in the 2003 revival of Wonderful Town. Westfeldt co-wrote the screenplay for the 2024 film The Idea of You.
