Biography

Jeong Man-sik (also credited as Jung Man-sik or Joung Man-sik) is a South Korean actor. Born on 11 December 1974 in Mokpo, he trained at the Actors21 academy and began his career performing in theatre in Seoul's Daehangno district, where he won an acting award at the 2004 Seoul Theater Festival.

He made his screen debut in 2005 and has appeared in numerous films and television series. Notable credits include The Yellow Sea (2010), Miracle in Cell No. 7 (2013), A Hard Day (2014) as Detective Choi, The Battleship Island (2017), Rampant (2018), Vagabond (2019) as Min Jae-shik, Beasts Clawing at Straws (2020) and The Swordsman (2020).
