Biography
Jerome Schwartz is an American television writer and producer. He was born in Portland, Oregon, and grew up in Bellingham, Washington. He graduated from Whitman College with a double major in theatre and English literature.
Schwartz began his career as a clerical assistant on the NBC series The Office. He later worked as a writers' production assistant and research assistant on the CBS series Cold Case. In 2010 he co-wrote the film Friction with director Cullen Hoback. He went on to write episodes for the series Chase and Zero Hour.
Schwartz contributed to the ABC series Once Upon a Time in Wonderland as executive story editor and writer. He subsequently joined the main series Once Upon a Time from its fourth season, serving as writer and in producer roles including co-executive producer, and wrote twenty episodes. He has also written for Emergence, The Fix and La Brea.
