Biography
Jerzy Gruza (1932–2020) was a Polish director and screenwriter. Born in Warsaw, he worked extensively in film and television, directing and writing numerous Polish productions.
He received a co-screenwriting credit on Jerzy Skolimowski’s Deep End (1971), alongside Skolimowski and Bolesław Sulik. Among his best-known works are the television series and films Motylem jestem, czyli romans czterdziestolatka (1976) and Pierścień i róża (1987).
