Biography
Jess Chanliau is an American-French actor. They played the recurring role of Ronnie in the Netflix series The Diplomat (2023), appearing in nine episodes across the first two seasons.
Chanliau trained at the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts in Santa Maria, California, and graduated with a BA in Acting from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow in 2017, having spent a semester at the Conservatoire National Supérieur d'Art Dramatique in Paris. Earlier education included the Marin School of the Arts in Novato, California, and classes at Cours Florent in Paris.
Their other screen credits include the lead role of Stone in the film Inmate Zero (also known as Patients of a Saint, 2020) and the part of BJill23 in the series Brave New World (2020). They also appeared in the 2014 film The Riven.
