Biography
Jessica Kender is a production designer working primarily in American television. After graduating from Carnegie Mellon University, she began her career as a scenic artist painting for shows on and off Broadway before moving to Los Angeles, where she worked as a set designer and art director.
She has production designed series including Dexter (2010–2013), Future Man (2017–2019), Little Fires Everywhere (2020), Daisy Jones & the Six (2023) and Tiny Beautiful Things (2023), as well as the feature film Soaked in Bleach (2015). For Daisy Jones & the Six she received a Primetime Emmy nomination and an Art Directors Guild nomination; she also won the 2023 Set Decorators Society of America Award for the series. She has received further Art Directors Guild nominations for Little Fires Everywhere and Future Man.
