Biography
Jessica Matten is a Canadian actress and producer. Born in Edmonton, Alberta, she graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in human ecology. She began her career in modelling and later trained in acting at Shoreline Studios in Vancouver.
Matten is known for her roles as Sokanon in the series Frontier (2016–2018), Bernadette Manuelito in Dark Winds (2022–present), Heather Hobbs in the film Rez Ball (2024), and Katara in the animated film Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender (2026). She has also appeared in The Empty Man (2020) and Tribal (2020–2021), and has worked as a producer on several projects.
