Biography
Jessica Vosk is an American actress and singer. She was born on 30 September 1983 in New Jersey and raised in Clinton, New Jersey. After studying at the Hartt School and earning a BA in communications and public and investor relations from Montclair State University, she worked in investor relations on Wall Street before pursuing a career in musical theatre.
Vosk is best known for playing Elphaba Thropp in Wicked, first on the second national tour from 2016 to 2017 and then on Broadway from 2018 to 2019. She has appeared in other Broadway productions including Fiddler on the Roof, Finding Neverland and The Bridges of Madison County. Since 2024 she has voiced Lute in the animated series Hazbin Hotel.
Her other screen credits include Schmigadoon! (2021) and East New York (2022).
