Biography
Jim Clemente is an American writer, former New York State prosecutor and FBI profiler. Born on 30 October 1959 in San Mateo, California, he served 22 years with the FBI from 1987 to 2009, including as a supervisory special agent and profiler in the Behavioural Analysis Unit. His brother Tim also served as an FBI special agent.
Clemente began working as a technical advisor and freelance writer on the CBS series Criminal Minds in 2010. He became a producer in 2015 and continued in that role through the final season in 2019. He created and produced the eight-episode series Manhunt (2017), on which he also received story credit. He has worked as a technical advisor on other series including Quantico and Blindspot.
