Biography
Jim Hession is an American film editor. He holds a B.A. in American Studies from Tufts University and is a three-time Sundance Institute Documentary Edit and Story Lab fellow and recipient of the Karen Schmeer Film Editing Fellowship Award.
Hession edited Marina Abramović: The Artist Is Present (2012, co-editor), Rich Hill (2014) and American Symphony (2023). He has also edited episodes of the television series The Deep End (2022) and Philly D.A. (2021). His work has contributed to projects that received Emmy Awards, ACE Eddie Award nominations, a Sundance Grand Jury Prize and other honours.
